At Premier Transportation LLC, we’re fully committed to the safety and welfare of our customers, the general public, and our employees. We are licensed and insured according to the strict standards set by the US Department of Transportation, and we closely follow all the rules and regulations concerning hours of service, drug and alcohol abuse, and vehicle maintenance.

Our new 2010 Van Hool coaches are the first in Tennessee to be equipped with 3-point seat belts. While the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration does not require seat belts on commercial coaches Premier is taking the next step in the initiative. “Safety is the number one concern for all carriers and their passengers. This is the best way to provide our customers with the highest levels of protection” according to Premier’s Mike Bayless.

In addition these coaches will carry the latest in preventative safety measures including: SmartWave tire pressure monitoring, fire suppression systems in the engine compartment, Saucon GPS monitoring system, and rear and side cameras to assure there are no blind spots for the driver.

Regular mandatory safety meetings are held with all of our employees to discuss such vital issues as safe driving practices, hours of service, reviewed and updated DOT rules and regulations, and passenger care and safety. For all driver hires, we use a thorough screening process and background check, including pre-employment drug testing and random testing performed throughout their employment.

You are more than welcome to visit our headquarters to meet our staff and inspect our equipment. At Premier Transportation LLC, we use only modern, up-to-date coaches in our fleet—each on a strict inspection and preventative maintenance schedule. All coaches are equipped with individual reclining seats, A/C, TV/VCR, restrooms and ample undercarriage for safe and convenient luggage storage.
